TPC Sawgrass
September 19–21, 2025
This isn't just another golf event.
This is MGA at TPC Sawgrass, home of the iconic 17th island green, a course that has tested the world’s best.
And now, it's your turn.
World-Famous Venue
Golf. Faith. Legacy.
MGA World Championship
For the first time ever, the Muslim Golf Association is making its mark on one of the most legendary golf venues on the planet. This is more than a tournament, it’s a statement. That Muslim golfers belong on the global stage, competing, connecting, and celebrating their love of the game at the highest level.

MGA USA Presents
The Race to Makkah
Where Legends Walk, We Make History.
TPC Sawgrass isn’t just a golf course, it’s sacred ground in the world of golf.
Every fairway tells a story, every green echoes with the legacy of champions. This is where Tiger sank the “better than most” putt, where Sergio conquered 17 with quiet resolve, and where Rory McIlroy etched his name into history in 2025.
Now, it’s your turn.
As part of the MGA Race to Makkah, this isn’t just a test of skill, it’s a moment that binds your journey to the soul of the game. To stand here is to walk in the footsteps of legends, but with your own intention, your own niyyah.
This is golf with meaning. Legacy meets faith. And history awaits.
Take On the Most Famous Par 3 in Golf
The 17th at TPC Sawgrass.
Short in distance, massive in pressure. As part of the Race to Makkah USA Qualifier, this hole takes on a deeper meaning. The silence around the Island Green is almost sacred—just you, the ball, and the weight of a dream.
With every breath and every swing, you're not just aiming for the green, you're aiming for a place in the final in Saudi Arabia.
It’s not just about yardage. It’s about courage.
It’s where your faith meets your focus.
Where nerves meet purpose.
And where one shot could change your story.
Hit it pure, and you’ll walk off with more than a par, you’ll carry a story for life.
Championship Golf.
Pure Florida Beauty.
Set in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, TPC Sawgrass offers a stunning blend of natural beauty and elite-level design. Hosting the Race to Makkah USA Qualifier, this stage reflects everything MGA stands for: excellence, ambition, and unity through golf.
As palm trees sway and sunlight dances across the fairways, players will find more than a challenge, they’ll find peace, connection, and pride in representing something bigger than themselves.
Test Your Game on a PGA Tour Masterpiece
Built to challenge the world’s best, TPC Sawgrass brings out every ounce of strategy, precision, and heart. For those competing in the Race to Makkah USA Qualifier, it’s the ultimate proving ground.
From the first tee to the last putt, this is your chance to step into the arena, push your limits, and earn your place on the road to Makkah. It’s not about beating the course, it’s about becoming better because of it.
TPC Sawgrass is a destination on every golfer’s bucket list, but for the MGA community, it’s a stop on a far more meaningful journey. As the home of the Race to Makkah USA Qualifier, this iconic venue offers more than prestige, it offers purpose. It’s where brotherhood, belief, and ambition come together.
Every shot taken here isn’t just about the scoreboard, it’s about representing your story, your faith, and your right to belong on the world stage.
The World Final.
Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, Saudi Arabia.
This is where the journey leads.
Perched along the Red Sea coastline, Royal Greens Golf & Country Club is a world-class championship venue and the proud host of the Race to Makkah World Final.
Those who qualify from the TPC Sawgrass USA event will earn the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete at this breathtaking course, shoulder to shoulder with finalists from the UK and around the globe.
You’ll walk the same fairways that have welcomed the stars of the Saudi International and LIV Golf, representing your region on a global stage – in an event that’s as much about faith and brotherhood as it is about elite competition.
This isn’t just a final. It’s the culmination of a pilgrimage that began with a single swing.
Will you make it to Makkah?
From The Majors to Makkah
This is more than a tournament: it’s a movement.
The Race to Makkah is the world’s first golf pilgrimage, uniting players from all corners of the globe on one sacred journey. Across three divisions, men from different cultures, continents and handicaps will compete side by side, bound by their shared love of golf and the values of their faith.
From the manicured greens of TPC Sawgrass to the iconic dunes of Royal Greens, this is a pathway that blends the prestige of elite venues with the spiritual pull of something far deeper.
For the first time in the sport’s history, Muslims from every walk of life will step onto one global platform, not just to chase trophies, but to celebrate identity, unity, and brotherhood through the game they love.
This is where the game meets the soul.
This is golf redefined.
This is the Race to Makkah.
Three Continents. One Brotherhood. One World Final.

We’ll be using the Stableford scoring system – the preferred format for all MGA tournaments worldwide.
In simple terms, Stableford awards points based on the number of strokes taken on each hole, rather than simply counting total strokes over the round. The better you play on each hole, the more points you earn – and if you have a bad hole, you can pick up and move on without ruining your entire score.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
1 point for a bogey
2 points for a par
3 points for a birdie
4 points for an eagle
0 points for anything worse than a bogey
This format keeps the game fast, competitive and more enjoyable – especially for newer players. It also means one bad hole won’t ruin your entire round.
Stableford is the standard scoring method used by all MGA host countries and ensures a fair and consistent playing experience across our global tournaments.
