Championship Golf in Lincolnshire
Set within the peaceful countryside of North Lincolnshire, Forest Pines Golf Resort offers a championship golfing experience surrounded by towering pines, sweeping parkland fairways, and beautifully maintained natural landscapes. Designed by former European Tour professional John Morgan, the course blends traditional parkland golf with modern strategic design, creating a layout that is both visually striking and thoughtfully challenging for players of all abilities.
A Strategic and Rewarding Layout
Forest Pines forms part of a 27 hole championship complex, allowing multiple course combinations that deliver variety and excitement throughout the round. Wide, inviting fairways encourage confident play from the tee, while cleverly positioned bunkers and water features demand accuracy and thoughtful shot making. The course’s expansive greens are known for their subtle movement and immaculate conditioning, rewarding players who demonstrate precision and touch with the putter.
A Perfect Stage for Competition
For players competing in the Race to Makkah series, Forest Pines provides a fitting stage where performance, focus, and enjoyment come together. Each hole presents its own character and strategic test, ensuring that every round unfolds with moments of risk, reward, and opportunity. It is a course that rewards both power and precision, offering an unforgettable golfing experience in a setting worthy of championship competition.
Elevated Resort Experience
Beyond the challenge of the layout itself, Forest Pines is widely regarded as one of England’s leading resort golf destinations. The course is complemented by outstanding facilities, including a modern clubhouse, excellent practice areas, and a welcoming hospitality environment that enhances the overall tournament experience.
For players travelling to compete, the Muslim Golf Association has secured preferred accommodation rates at the resort, with the option to arrive early, stay on-site, and enjoy a relaxed practice round before tournament play begins. The setting strikes a perfect balance between competitive championship golf and a refined resort atmosphere, allowing players to prepare, connect, and fully experience the venue.
Liwaa Cup
The Race to Makkah UK Series does not end when the final putt drops. It builds towards the Liwaa Cup, a fierce North vs South showdown that brings together the very best performers from the season. Only those who finish inside the top four of each division in the Race to Makkah standings will earn their place, forming two elite teams of twelve players.
What follows is a fully hosted, complimentary, overnight experience and three rounds of match play featuring alternate shot, better ball pairs, and singles. Pride, regional rivalry, and the honour of lifting the Liwaa Cup await those who rise to the challenge.
